I will give a presentation on the Journey for Justice at the Save the Pine Bush vegetarian/vegan lasagna dinner on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:00 PM.
The dinner begins promptly at 6:00 PM and costs $12 for adults, $6 for students and $3 for children. The dinner will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 85 Chestnut Street, Albany, NY 12202 (people with cars can park in the lot near the door. The front door of the church is 262 State Street, but, please come in the door on Chestnut Street). For more information, see: http://savethepinebush.org/Current/Dinner.html
My presentation will begin at 7:00. People are welcome to attend the presentation only at no charge.
Everyone who is interested in the Journey for Justice, how the idea came about, our boating mis-adventures in the Susquahanna River, and how I started out walking and wound up traveling the last two blocks in a wheelchair is welcome to attend.
I will speak about Yassin Aref’ and Mohammed Hossain’s case. I will talk about the many wonderful people I met along the way, the challenges of walking in our beautiful country, and how I learned that people really care about justice.
